The Washington DC Local 5 Plumbers is a plumbing and pipefitting organization that offers some of the best training from plumbing professionals.

Founded in 1940, the plumbing training program is registered through the National Apprenticeship Program.

The campus boasts one building with 13 classrooms and three shops housing the latest welding, refrigeration, and plumbing instructional equipment.

The second boiling has state-of-the-art labs and residential and commercial pipe trainers.

Programs

The apprenticeship program offered by Washington DC Local 5 Plumbers requires five years of training with a practical module exam in the fourth year of the apprenticeship.

The modules need students to design five shop drawings and three future wet-vented bathrooms in 12 hours.

Students must complete this module to advance to the final year of training.

2 ABC Metro Washington Associated Builders and Contractors

5 Plumbers Union Apprentice School

About

With locations in Baltimore, Hagerstown, and Delaware, the Plumbers Union Apprentice School provides free instruction and direct training to participants from skilled plumbers.

Started in 1941, the Plumbers and Steamfitters Apprenticeship program produces graduates to become high-wage, highly qualified professionals.

Programs

In addition to firsthand training, students are subjected to classroom knowledge.

As a result, students earn the following certifications through the program:
