Southwest Tennessee Community College offers several electrician training programs from both its Union Avenue and Macon Cove Campuses.

The first option is the electrical/electronic fundamentals technical certificate, which requires students to complete 18 program credits.

The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree program in Electrical Engineering Technology requires a two-year commitment and 61 credit units to graduate.

Sample classes include digital fundamentals, AC and DC circuits, and more.

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology offers a full-time electrician training program throughout various campuses across Tennessee.

TCAT also offers optional credentials at various levels.
