Southern Careers Institute – North Campus

Southern Careers Institute’s San Antonio campus offers medical, business, and technical training options.

Southern Careers Institute maintains eight campuses in Texas – two in San Antonio.

The electrician training from the SCI program has been approved by the state, so the credit/apprenticeship hours can be counted towards the state licensing on-the-job training requirements for residential wiremen, journeyperson electricians, and master electricians.

SCI’s electrical technician program prepares graduates for entry-level jobs and includes 4,000 hours of supervised training to become a residential wireman.

A journeyperson will complete 8,000 hours of supervised training and then accumulate another 4,000 hours of supervision by a master electrician to become a master electrician.

All license levels require passing the appropriate examination.

Cisneros Training Group

Cisneros Training Group is a professional training/education organization that offers several electrician training programs.

Propel Career Academy, LLC operates as an accredited electrician trade school.

Courses and programs are offered in morning, afternoon, and evening sessions.
