Programs Offered

The medical assistant program at Ross lasts 30 weeks for the day program, and 36 weeks for the evening program.

Students can choose the medical assistant diploma program, or an associate of science degree as a medical assistant.

The diploma program consists of 6 modules, which can be taken in any order.

2 Sullivan University

About the School

Sullivan University’s medical assistant program is ranked the top medical assistant program in Kentucky by Medial Assistance Advice.

The university is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

Programs Offered

The course has a 100% certification exam pass rate for 2020.

They offer two programs.

The first is a diploma program, which can be completed in 12 months.

They also offer an associate of science degree in Medical Assisting, which takes 18 months to complete.

Most of the coursework is completed online.

Students will need to go to the campus for a one-week “bootcamp” before completing the program.

This allows them to get hands-on experience, before beginning a clinical rotation.
