Certification Requirements

Although Tennessee does not require ultrasound techs to get a certification, having one will land you a job faster.

The available programs can be taken online or in person, but also full time or part-time.

To get certified. you should attend a program approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

You can also choose a specialization, such as:
