Training Requirements in Nevada
In this state, you need to be 18 years old at the minimum and have a GED or a high school diploma.
You also have to pass a background check that shows you don’t have a criminal record.

No matter what program you enroll in, you need to make sure it is Board-approved.
While many students choose a shorter program, you can also get an associate’s degree.

How to Get Licensed in Nevada
To be eligible, you need to finish 1500 hours of training in a clinical setting.
Finishing your program allows you to apply for national certification.
To do so, you must first send an application to the Board.
The application should include your school transcripts and proof of eligibility.
You will then have to pass the PTCB exam, after which he Nevada State Board of Pharmacy will issue your license.
You will have to renew your license later on and take some extra education hours.
